Foil Pack Meals Brown Sugar Chicken

So the last time I did a chicken recipe was my famous Buttermilk Hot Ranch Chicken Sandwich that you guys and gals went crazy for. Now I am back with another easy chicken recipe that I know y‘all will love. Recently foil pack meals and foil pack recipes have been all the rage on Pinterest. So jumping on that wave I decided to create a delicious easy chicken recipe in the form of a foil pack. Foil pack meals are great because you get to prepare it beforehand fold it up in foil and just bake it off in the oven when you’re ready plus its minimal clean up afterward.

This foil pack meal is one of the easiest foil pack meals to prepare with ingredients you already have in your house. You can substitute seasonings to your liking or experiment with new ones to make it your own. However you decide to do it i know you will enjoy it! The basic Foil Pack Brown Sugar Recipe is below.

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Thighs
  • 4 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Garlic Salt
  • 2 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • Chopped Fresh Yellow Onion
  • 1/3 cup Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Chop your desired amount of yellow onions. Pour olive oil into a bowl and place your chicken in the bowl and make sure the chicken is fully covered in olive oil. In another bowl add the brown sugar, garlic salt, black pepper, and paprika then mix the seasonings together. 

  2. On a sheet pan, place a long piece of aluminum foil then take your chopped yellow onions and place them in the middle of the foil. Next take your raw chicken out of the olive oil letting the excess olive oil drip back into the bowl. Then place the chicken on top of the onions and take your seasonings mixture and rub on top of the chicken and bottom of the chicken. Lastly, connect the two pieces of the aluminum foil from top to bottom and side to side and bake in the oven on 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour or put in the refrigerator and bake off when you’re ready!
