Slow Cooker Chili Recipe
My new slow cooker chili recipe is not only full of flavor but it has a spicy kick to it. This crockpot chili was a family favorite when I cooked in a traditional pot about a week. Most of my family came back for seconds, but to me even though the chili was awesome I rushed it a little bit and it didn’t have time to soak up all those spices and flavor. So I made some modifications to the chili recipe and now it’s off the chain good this time! It has simple ingredients and it’s slow cooked to perfection. Plus it’s a relatively easy crockpot chili recipe compared to the other ones I’ve seen on the internet.
Not only are the kidney beans, crushed tomatoes, and ground beef more tender in this slow cooker chili recipe but the spices are more combined and it delivers a powerful southern chili taste. I am confident that this will be one of the best chili recipes you will ever make! Create this slow cooker chili for the game, family functions, party, or anything else and I guarantee people will be asking for this slow cooker chili recipe once they have some.

- ½ pound of ground beef
- 2 15 ounce cans of kidney beans
- 2 12 ounce cans of diced tomatoes
- 2 ½ tablespoon of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 2 tablespoons of ground cumin
- 1 ½ tablespoons of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
- 4 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 32 ounces of beef stock
- 2 teaspoons of hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Worcestershire Sauce for beef
- Frozen chopped onions
In a medium bowl add your brown sugar, chili powder, ground cumin, oregano, tomato paste, honey, and hot sauce and mix until well combined then set aside.
Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add your chopped onion, beef, and Worcestershire sauce and cook until the meat is brown and the liquid is reduced. Then add your seasoning mixture from the previous step to beef. Stir it until it’s well combined. Then turn the heat off and add the meat to your crockpot.
Next drain your kidney beans and diced tomatoes. Add the beans and tomatoes to your crock pot and mix it in until beans and tomatoes are well incorporated. Pour in your beef stock and stir into your chili and place the lid on crockpot.
Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 10 hours. Taste for seasonings. Serve warm to guests and enjoy! 🙂
